DISINFO: Zelenskyy’s peace plan is a war formula
SUMMARY
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy’s peace plan, viewed in the West as the only possible option, is effectively a formula of war. Basically, this is all one needs to know about the collective West’s approach to a peace settlement. Neither US President Joe Biden, nor HRVP Josep Borrell, nor Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy need peace and prosperity in Ukraine. What they are after is a war till the last Ukrainian.

This is a recurring disinformation narrative in pro-Kremlin outlets claiming that Ukraine and its allies are not interested in peace and using Ukraine in a proxy war. This claim was made in the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity have been violated by continuous acts of aggression by Russian armed forces since 2014 culminating in a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine on 24th February 2022. The Ukrainian people and Ukraine as a state are counteracting Russia's illegal invasion as enshrined in the UN Charter Article 51.
The US, the EU and NATO condemn Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Not only Western, but also many other nations around the world, support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter article 51, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented a 10-point peace plan at a EU-Ukraine summit in February 2023. The EU unequivocally supported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s peace formula. It is up to Ukraine to decide when it will hold talks with Russia. The assistance to Ukraine is aimed at making Ukraine's position stronger.
