Z and V are not alone: Iran has opened a second front with attacks on the American base.
Loud explosions sounded Sunday evening in the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, the city of Erbil in the north of the country. According to preliminary data, 10-14 Fateh-110 ballistic missiles hit Erbil. Military experts write that Iran's target was a US military base near Erbil airport. The US consulate was also hit.
In the Iranian media, one can see comments addressed to the Russians: "Z and V – you are not alone!"
RESPONSE
Pro-Kremlin disinformation about Third World War, and wide support for Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Iran claimed that the attack targeted an Israeli "strategic centre" not an American military base. There is no evidence to suggest that the attack is in any way related to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
