SUMMARY

The assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump could be connected with his position on restoring order in terms of global security. Trump said that "freedom is more important than democracy." For (President) Biden and the Democrats, their freedom to be in politics is more important than democracy.

The assassination attempt on Trump could be connected with his position on restoring order in terms of global security, these were his slogans. And it was after the victorious election debates that an assassination attempt was made on him. In the assassination attempt on Trump, one can easily find a Ukrainian trace.

The assassination attempt stems from the policy of unleashed wars, aggression around the world. In peacetime, candidates for the US presidency are not shot at.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy

No evidence supports the claim of the "Ukrainian trace" in the attempt on Trump's life.

The FBI said it believes Thomas Matthew Crooks who shot Donald Trump's at a rally, acted alone. Investigators have found no threatening comments on social media accounts or ideological position.

A review of public records suggests Crooks, now 20 years old, was registered to vote as a Republican but aged 17, made a small donation to a Democratic-leaning group - Progressive Turnout Project back in 2021. A spokesperson for Progressive Turnout Project said that the group had received the donation “in response to an email about tuning into the inauguration” and that “the email address associated with the contribution only made the one contribution and was unsubscribed from our lists 2 years ago.”

“We unequivocally condemn political violence in all of its forms, and we denounce anyone who chooses violence over peaceful political action,” the spokesperson said.

The pro-Kremlin conspiracy narrative uses the recurrent disinformation trend "always blame the West" , justifying the Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Regardless the relevance of their narratives, pro-Kremlin media speculate about upcoming US presidential elections and make hints that Trump would oppose "the collective West", would put pressure on Ukraine to make it accept Russia's occupation.

Pro-Kremlin media see "the Ukrainian trace" in most unexpected places. Thus, in the case of the assassination attempt on Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, pro-Kremlin media fabricated a "Ukrainian wife" of the shooter. The Slovak police have refuted the fabricated news.

Republican and Democratic leaders, as well as some international friends and foes, expressed shock and relief Saturday night after an apparent assassination attempt on Trump at campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Lawmakers from both parties promised hearings and a comprehensive investigation into the attack.
