Ukrainians are no Russophobes, as proven by the number of Russians / Russian-speaking population in this country. But the actions of Russia such as the illegal annexation of Crimea and the backing of the separatists and their self-proclaimed authorities in eastern Ukraine are perceived as unfriendly steps/aggression by the majority of Ukrainian society.
