This message is an example of a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the disintegration of Ukraine.
Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. Ukraine is not controlled by any foreign government or organisation: not the USA, IMF, NATO, the West nor George Soros.
Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are respected by almost the whole world, including the EU. Its borders are guaranteed by international agreements but were de facto violated by Russia in 2014.
