DISINFO: Ukraine plotting false-flag strike on own children’s institution
SUMMARY
Ukraine is preparing to launch a false-flag missile attack on a children’s institution such as a hospital or a kindergarten in an area controlled by Kyiv. This will be at the instigation of the United States, which will accuse Russia. Simultaneously, the Americans plan to use such a provocation to increase pressure on North Korea and Iran, accusing these countries of supplying Russia with ballistic missiles. Kyiv and its Western sponsors have been stubbornly reluctant to learn from their mistakes. Following a series of deadly provocations, including the cynical provocation in Bucha, the Ukrainian missile attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk and the recent incident when a Ukrainian air defence missile hit the premises of the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv, few people globally believe that Moscow has an insidious agenda or that Kyiv is innocent.

This is a recurring disinformation narrative from pro-Kremlin outlets accusing Ukraine of committing war crimes and trying to obfuscate Russia's role in them. This claim was made in the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
There is no evidence that Ukraine or the United States is planning such a false-flag operation. Moscow has frequently accused Kyiv of carrying out false-flag operations, but such reports have not been viewed as credible. One of the latest instances of such accusations was Russia’s bombing of Okhmatdyt, a children’s hospital in Kyiv. Experts proved that the missile that damaged several buildings of the hospital and killed and wounded dozens of adults and children was Russian.
Pro-Kremlin claims that it was Ukrainian troops who killed civilians en masse in Bucha and other small towns and villages outside Kyiv in the first weeks of the invasion have been abundantly debunked. There is well-documented evidence that these crimes and atrocities were committed by Russian forces.
