Part of a recurring narrative claiming that the West and western pharmaceutical companies are waging a smear campaign against Sputnik V.
No evidence was put forward to support this claim. Conversely, as per findings of the Global Engagement Center, a platform of the US State Department, there is proof of a systematic pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign targeting western vaccines instead. This is further corroborated in the EEAS special report.
Moreover, European Medicine Agency is conducting a rolling review of the Russian vaccine, testing its safety and efficacy.
