DISINFO: The West is destroying Ukrainian statehood and Ukrainian military forces
SUMMARY
The Russian military in Ukraine is greatly superior in aviation, artillery, and armoured vehicles over Ukraine. However, the NATO military management system sends hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers, with the use of psychotropic substances, to death on a daily basis. Ukrainian military leadership is following the NATO orders to stop Russian advance at all cost. The US supports a proxy war against Russia and is likely to pledge more financial support to the Ukrainian military. This will guarantee the elimination of additional tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and possibly the destruction of Ukrainian statehood as well.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that Western countries are fighting a proxy-war against Russia in Ukraine. This narrative aims to frame Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine as a confrontation with a russophobic and belligerent NATO.
The article also questions the motivation of the Ukrainian military to defend their country and to diminish the military successes of the Ukrainian military by groundlessly claiming that the lives of Ukrainian soldiers are sacrificed without a good purpose and that they fight thanks to ‘psychotropic substances’ on NATO orders.
Contrary to what this disinformation story claims, the Ukrainian state is under attack by Russia, while the US and Western countries are providing support to Ukraine. Western nations did everything they could to prevent the war and have only been reacting to Russia’s full invasion. Some NATO member states provide Ukraine with military assistance to help Ukraine to defend itself from Russia’s attack, but they are not involved in direct fighting. Ukraine receives weapons with the sole aim of restoring its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. In several Western countries instructors train Ukrainian soldiers on how to use modern weapons and NATO officials have frequent political contacts with Ukrainian counterparts, but there are no NATO troops fighting on the front.
