DISINFO: The war with Hamas is an Israeli plot

SUMMARY

This whole story [the war in Gaza] is an Israeli plot. This is roughly what happened on September 11, which was a US plot. Because such a failure of the Israeli intelligence services is impossible without an order from above.

RESPONSE

A recurring and unfounded conspiracy theory on the terrorist attack on World Trade Center in New York on 11 September 2001 suggesting the US government's involvement.

The September 11 attacks, also commonly referred to as 9/11 were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the militant Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States on the morning of 11 September 2001. The 9/11 conspiracy theories have been refuted several times including by the “9-11 Commission" created by the US legislators.

As for the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, there is absolutely no evidence that this could have been a false flag operation. A number of Israel Defence Forces spokespeople stressed the element of surprise as Hamas was giving the impression that it is not ready for a confrontation.

"We believed that the fact that they were coming in to [Israel] to work and bringing money into Gaza would create a certain level of calm. We were wrong," an Israeli army spokesperson said.

"They caused us to think they wanted money," an Israeli security source told Reuters. "And all the time they were involved in exercises/drills until they ran riot."
