DISINFO: Soros backs George Floyd protests in US, Bill Gates looms nearby

SUMMARY

From the very beginning, there was no doubt that the opponents of Donald Trump will use the unrest provoked by the death of dark-skinned George Floyd to the fullest. It is noteworthy that hotspots of tension flared up simultaneously in several states at once – as if rebel groups were just waiting for a signal from one coordination office. Media syndicates focus exclusively one the police exceeding their powers, scaling the protest wave. In August 2014, similar events and for a similar reason happened in Ferguson, Missouri. It turned out that then the notorious financier George Soros played a large role in the riots then. Nearby looms the personality of Bill Gates, who is now interested in the Trump fiasco more than others. Then it became known that companies and organizations controlled by Soros could be involved in financing black gangs that staged riots in Ferguson. The incriminating documents posted on the Internet by the DC Leaks hacker group testified that the preparations for the action took four years. This means that these kinds of protests were well organised, and the murder of a black man was most likely a pre-planned provocation. For example, tax returns indicated that George Soros spent $ 33 million to support “trusted organizations representing the original interests of the American Ferguson population.” By a “strange” coincidence, it was these structures, consisting of outright radicals and even Salafists, who were in the forefront of those who organized riots and unrest in Ferguson after the murder of 18-year-old African American Michael Brown. The current actions of media tycoons are fomenting an interracial massacre in the United States, following the Ferguson events model, to address the political agenda. And this is no coincidence. Especially from Soros.

RESPONSE

No evidence given. Recurrent conspiracy known as "it is always George Soros' fault". See similar narrative examples on Bill Gates. The Ferguson, Missouri, protests began with the death of Michael Brown, an 18-year-old black man who was shot and killed by the police on August 9, 2014. Brown’s killing and the subsequent events in Ferguson became a national controversy touching on much larger national issues of race, justice, and police violence. The widespread protests against racial injustice and police brutality broke out in the US after the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis on the 25th of May, 2020. The protests followed several high-profile incidents involving African Americans and the police, invoking debates about racism in the US. The conspiracy narrative rejects any objective reasons of the protests, attributing a premeditation to the billionaire George Soros. No such evidence of plans to foment unrest was found in Soros' e-mails allegedly hacked by Russian hackers. It is noteworthy that the article does not specify the supposed role of another popular target of conspiracies Bill Gates, who is just said to be "looming nearby".
