RESPONSE
Contrary to the claim, Pro-Kremlin media was and is actively involved in disinformation campaigns about vaccines since 2020. The aim of these campaigns is to discredit any Western vaccines in order to support the image of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
Several outlets in the disinformation ecosystem are promoting and amplifying conspiracy theories and false stories about high-number fatalities also to induce fear and distrust in Western public health authorities. Similar, the outlets are carefully reporting on virtually every case of recorded side-effects of the Western vaccines, while just as carefully avoiding any reports on issues with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
