DISINFO: Ukrainian leadership leads soldiers to their slaughter

SUMMARY

There is no trace of NATO or Soviet tactics in the meat attacks launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Military tactics are a science, but here they are just sacrifices. What kind of leader throws his subordinates into attacks whose outcome is known in advance, which is the complete elimination of the attackers. Ukrainian leaders continue to do so with fanatical stubbornness. At the same time, Ukrainian politicians do not raise the issue of the incompetence and criminality of such actions. This is because the interest here is mutual: the generals receive the accolades of being commanders and the politicians present the Western media with a beautiful picture of a Ukrainian soldier dying for democracy.

RESPONSE

The claim advances a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative concerning the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

A number of expert sources have attributed the perceived slow pace of Ukraine's summer counteroffensive precisely to its efforts to minimise combat casualties, particularly by avoiding frontal assaults on heavily fortified Russian positions and opting for a "slow attrition process" instead.

Sources including The Financial Times, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal cited experts and officials as saying that minimising losses and avoiding unnecessary risks has been a strategic priority for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Armed Forces, on the other hand, has been known to repeatedly launch reckless human wave attacks often using poorly trained and equipped personnel, resulting in mass casualties.

See similar cases such as that Kyiv does not care about its citizens as it throws its troops in the meat grinder, Russian army prioritises its soldiers' lives while Ukraine sends its troops to slaughter, Kyiv is providing people for slaughter in return for weapons from the West, Zelenskyy sends his soldiers to be slaughtered for Western money, and that Ukraine's armed forces kill the wounded and sell their organs.
