DISINFO: Poland uses anti-German sentiments to achieve regional hegemony
SUMMARY
Poland is provoking a quarrel with Germany in an effort to achieve its geopolitical ambitions in Europe. The United States is promoting Polish ambitions for regional hegemony mainly to counter Germany, while Warsaw also benefits from the situation. In this way, Poland seeks to establish itself as a new geopolitical centre of the EU, challenging the leading role of Germany on the continent.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about deep internal divisions within the EU and a "Russophobic" Poland used as a puppet state by the USA.
The pro-Kremlin media regularly accuse Poland of being a radical anti-Russian Russophobic country. The Polish authorities and society perceive Russia as their main security threat because of the aggressive Russian actions in Ukraine and all over Eastern Europe.
Germany is one of the key political partners of Poland and the largest trading partner of this country.
Poland is a sovereign state which shapes its own foreign and domestic policies. The political, economic and military relations between Poland and the United States have a mutually beneficial character.
