DISINFO: The Pfizer vaccine is killing people in Spain and Norway
SUMMARY
Pfizer [COVID-19 vaccine] … continues to backfire and to record adverse results in several countries according to reports.
The most recent of which was reported by the Spanish NGO the “Messenger for Peace”, specifically in the city of “Lagartera”, where 7 elderly people died and the rest of the residents in a nursing home were infected with the coronavirus, shortly after receiving their first jab of Pfizer.
The organisation states that the first symptoms of coronavirus appeared in the elderly 6 days after they were vaccinated, which was what doctors said were side effects of the vaccine.
What is happening in Spain was preceded by a similar event in Norway, where 23 elderly people over the age of 80 died 6 days after receiving the vaccination, and the accident prompted the authorities to amend recommendations for vaccinating the elderly with Pfizer…
The effects of the Pfizer vaccine were not limited only to cases of death. Side effects were also recorded on those who were vaccinated, and there were cases that varied between allergic symptoms, numbness and paralysis of the facial nerves in those who received the vaccine in Britain and Israel.
These are accidents that occur while the hope was initially drawn to prevent the evilness of the coronavirus. The continued registration of deaths or symptoms among those who chose the Pfizer vaccine may push others to seek different vaccines that have not recorded any deaths since their first use.
RESPONSE
This is part of a disinformation campaign aiming to discredit any Western vaccines, in order to support the image of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
On November 18th, Pfizer and BioNTech announced the conclusion of the phase 3 study of their COVID-19 vaccine “meeting all primary efficacy endpoints”. According to Pfizer data published in December 2020, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is roughly 52% effective after the first dose.
On December 8th, the FDA released its independent analysis of the clinical trials. They determined that the Comirnaty (name of the vaccine) has an efficacy rate of 95 per cent, after the second dose.
While health authorities noted the presence of some side effects, they do make it clear that:
"these side effects typically resolve on their own within a few days, stressing that the vaccine’s benefits outweigh the risks".
Up until January 20th, the World Health Organisation states that it is:
"not aware of any deaths linked to the Pfizer vaccine, nor any other vaccine".
WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) states that Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective.
Background on the Spanish Lagartera cases
The care home's residents and staff members were injected with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on January 13. Six days later, 10 residents started showing symptoms of the virus. However, Covid-19 symptoms begin to appear five to 14 days after a person is infected meaning it's highly likely the residents were infected with the disease before getting their jab.
The general director of the “Messenger for Peace” NGO, Sergio Mella said: “No, we do not think the cause of death was the Covid jab”, adding “the fact that the symptoms began five or six days after the vaccination is a coincidence, not a consequence of the vaccine”.
Background on the deaths in Norway
The cases of deaths in Norway were connected to frail old patients in nursing homes. All were over 80 years old and some of them over 90, which means that even mild side effects of vaccines (for instance fever or nausea) could have been dangerous for them. In response, the medical director of the Norwegian Medicines Agency Steinar Madsen said that:
“Those who are very frail - with advanced heart failure, dementia, COPD and other serious diseases- and at the very end of life can be vaccinated after an individual assessment, while emphasising that many thousands of frail people have been vaccinated without a fatal outcome”.
The Pfizer vaccine is a frequent target of disinformation, as in the following cases that 6 people died because of the Pfizer vaccine; or that Pfizer used to fake clinical trials; or that Pfizer directors sold their shares alarmed over vaccine’s deaths.
