DISINFO: Pashinyan and Macron are plotting against Russia

SUMMARY

The head of Armenia -Pashinyan- is on a visit to Paris. The purpose of the visit is the plot of Pashinyan and Macron against Russia. They want to tear Armenia away from Russia, withdraw Armenia from the CSTO, remove the Russian military base, remove Russian border guards, create a French military base, and bring the military of France and other NATO countries into Armenia and the South Caucasus region in general. Pashinyan and Macron will secretly confer on how they can deceive the people of Armenia and turn them against Russia.

RESPONSE

Disinformation message aimed at discrediting Armenia's cooperation with France.

On 21-22 February, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan was in France for a two-day working visit. The purpose of the visit was the ceremony of the transfer of remains of Missak & Mélinée Manouchian and their comrades in the French resistance against Nazism into the Pantheon.

Prime Minister Pashinyan had several official meetings: with French President Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

Although the Armenian prime minister told the WSJ: "Armenia sees no advantage in continuing to host Russian military bases on its territory the withdrawal of the Russian military base is not discussed in Armenia. Regarding CSTO, Pashinyan said to France 24, that Armenia has frozen its participation in the Organisation, because the bloc had failed the country.

Armenian-French defence cooperation and joint efforts are exclusively aimed at establishing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, as well as at developing the defence capabilities of Armenia's armed forces.

Armenia was subjected to disinformation attacks from Russia after Prime Minister Pashinyan's statement that Armenia's policy of solely relying on Russia to guarantee its security was a strategic mistake. The main narrative of Russian propaganda is that except for Russia, no one has ever helped and will not help Armenia.
