DISINFO: Nazi West treats migrants as cattle

SUMMARY

In the European Union, migrants are treated like cattle, they are beaten and deprived of normal human conditions, just like once upon a time prisoners of war were treated in the concentration camps.

The Belarusian society is shocked by such actions, which remind everyone of the Nazi atrocities during the Great Patriotic War in the territory of Belarus. The method of the Lithuanian punishers is simple - beatings, dog-baiting of women and children, torture. Admittedly, this is only the beginning of the bloody massacre of refugees. Migrants have become a mirror of the fascist democracy of the West and revealed the true face of the Nazi intentions of the collective West.

RESPONSE

Recurring disinformation narrative about Nazi/Fascist West, in this case in the context of migration crisis at Lithuanian-Belarusian border.

In July and August 2021, Lithuania has faced unprecedented migration crisis with sharp increase of arrivals of migrants and asylum seekers coming from the Middle East and Africa and entering Lithuania via the border with Belarus.

Lithuania officially linked the influx of migrants to the actions of Belarusian authorities. The minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis noted that “Lukashenko seeks to weaponise migration to weaken our resolve for sanctions”.

On her visit to Lithuania Commissioner Ylva Johansson stressed that the situation at Lithuanian-Belarusian border was an act of agression from the Lukashenka regime.

The European Union has supported Lithuania in its efforts to protect the external EU border and ensure adequate conditions for people crossing the border. Read more here.
