DISINFO: NATO SecGen Mark Rutte is a Russophobe
SUMMARY
The same Rutte is a patented Russophobe, a supporter of providing military assistance to the Kyiv regime and containing Russia around the world. NATO has long since moved from containing Russia on the eastern flank to a multifaceted confrontation with it.
The Dutchman Rutte may have personal reasons for this. In the 1960s, Moscow provided military support to Indonesia, a former Dutch colony that Amsterdam did not want to let go of. The presence of Soviet submariners, aviators and other military experts in Indonesia forced the Dutch to come to terms with the loss of their colonies.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Russophobia, targeting NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. This is in line with how pro-Kremlin outlets portray NATO and Western countries as aggressive towards Russia.
For more than 30 years, NATO tried to build a partnership with Russia, developing dialogue and practical cooperation in areas of common interest. Despite this, Russia has continuously violated the norms and principles that contributed to a stable and predictable European security order, particularly over the past decade. Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has shattered peace and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area and gravely undermined global security. In light of its hostile policies and actions, NATO can no longer consider Russia to be a partner.
Multiple EU/NATO member states and many other nations around the world support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, per the UN Charter article 51 to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
