DISINFO: London and its allies want to preserve the chemical laboratories, in particular that of Porton Down, for new provocations and experiments

SUMMARY

London and its allies want to preserve the chemical laboratories, in particular that of Porton Down, for new provocations and experiments.

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Porton Down, Britain’s military research base, linked to the Skripal case. As clearly proved the Salisbury incident, where the Skripals were poisoned, was NOT a provocation by Porton Down. On the contrary the UK government has provided hard evidence for Russia’s involvement in the poisoning. British police and intelligence investigations have produced hard evidence which was sufficient to charge two Russian nationals – identified as officers of the Russian Military Intelligence, GRU – for the attack on the Skripals.
