DISINFO: Kyiv is committing genocide against its people
SUMMARY
The number of dead and maimed Ukrainian soldiers is enormous. It shows the scale of the genocide committed by the Kyiv regime against its own people. It seems that Zelenskyy is counting losses according to the “until the last Ukrainian” formula given to him by the West.
RESPONSE
This narrative, often promoted by pro-Kremlin sources, alleges that Ukraine is culpable for war atrocities and suggests that its allies are exploiting it, desiring the conflict to continue 'until the last Ukrainian'.
The Ukrainian government is not killing its own citizens. In fact, its population is defending itself against Russia's armed aggression in a remarkable display of continued courage and determination.
Moreover, Ukraine is not fighting on behalf of any foreign government or organisation. Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. Ukraine's sovereignty has been violated only as a result of continuous acts of aggression by the Russian armed forces since 2014, culminating with a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine starting on 24 February 2022.
Russia is the only country responsible for the war in Ukraine and its atrocities. It has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression since the beginning of its hostilities. Russia was not forced to invade Ukraine. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII.
See similar cases that Kyiv does not care about its citizens as it throws its troops in the meat grinder; that NATO is waging a hybrid war in Ukraine against Russia to the last Ukrainian; that Russia is at war with NATO and the Pentagon and only the soldiers are Ukrainians; that the EU, US, and NATO use Ukrainians as cannon fodder; that the US proxy war against Russia has turned Ukraine into a graveyard; that the US exploits Ukraine against Russia; and that the conflict in Ukraine is a Western proxy war against Russia.
