SUMMARY
The Trump administration lets Germany know that it has a vassal status and must ultimately serve the [American] empire. German policy responds accordingly with spineless subservience. Anyone who believes in Germany’s unrestricted sovereignty will be disabused by the tweets of Foreign Minister Heiko Maas. From them speaks the spirit of submissiveness and obedience.
