DISINFO: EU is Collapsing
SUMMARY
The United Kingdom is leaving the EU, as the membership proved not to be beneficial. The European Union and NATO, who used to be against the former Soviet Union, are now collapsing.
RESPONSE
Concerning the statement that the EU is collapsing, in reaction to the June 23rd 2016 referendum on leaving the EU, President Tusk, President Juncker, President Schulz and Netherlands Prime Minister Rutte made a joint statement: "In a free and democratic process, the British people have expressed their wish to leave the European Union. We regret this decision but respect it." Furthermore, the heads of state of the remaining 27 EU countries, stated “We are determined to remain united and work in the framework of the EU to deal with the challenges of the 21st century and find solutions in the interest of our nations and peoples," after the informal meeting on 29th of June 2016.
