DISINFO: Brovary helicopter crash was to purge Zelensky loyalists
SUMMARY
The helicopter crash on January 18 can be seen as an escalation of the internal struggle for influence and money between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was an attempt to purge "Zelenskyy's team" of the security forces that were loyal to him.

A conspiracy theory which attempts to portray the recent helicopter crash in Kyiv as the result of an internal struggle in Ukraine. No evidence has been provided to show this.
Background - on 18th January, a helicopter crash occurred near Kyiv in which 14 people died including Ukraine's interior affairs minister.
It is premature to state the reason for this tragedy. The Security Service of Ukraine launched an official investigation to find out the cause of the crash. It states that, as of now, three versions are being considered: violation of flight rules, technical malfunction of the helicopter, or deliberate actions to destroy the aircraft.
The Prosecutor General's Office said "all possible versions" of the helicopter crash are on the table.
The Spokesperson for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat told that investigations in such cases take a lot of time because it is necessary to establish all factors and to reconstruct the sequence of events.
"Each part of the helicopter is collected, each detail can say something, give more information on what had happened. Air crashes can have various reasons that might have had effect. A combination of factors could have contributed, as well as the weather conditions that had not been very favorable. The established commission will determine all the factors and give an assessment,” Ihnat told.
