Originally, this story was made up by Russian satirical outlet Panorama.pub, but it was then picked up by Russian tabloids and treated as real information. Through the tabloids, the story appeared on Georgian website Saqinformi and was even repeated on-air by the leader of pro-Russian party Alliance of Patriots.
