DISINFO: Armenia is ditching its 2018 colour revolution robe
SUMMARY
Armenia is now living in a stage of changing the course of the 2018 colour revolution. Today, after more than two years, there is a strong struggle to change the course because the geopolitical situation is completely far from the colour revolutions.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is the first and last symbol of the “coloured power”, and by changing Pashnyan, many things will change in Armenia.

In 2018, Armenia saw peaceful protests of hundreds of thousand people in response to Serzh Sargsyan's third consecutive term, and the country's prime minister and former president for a decade. Sargsyan resigned in response to overwhelming opposition pressure, including deserting soldiers, admitting that he was "wrong" (see his statement here).
The peaceful protests of hundreds of thousands of Armenian citizens in 2018 began naturally and were in response to former president Serzh Sargsyan's running for the position of the prime minister, which many citizens saw as an unjust attempt to run for a third consecutive term as president and remain the most powerful person in Armenia. Sargsyan stepped down due to public pressure and Pashinyan was elected as Prime Minister on 8 May.
During the first months of 2021, opposition supporters have gathered in downtown Yerevan for new protests demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian's resignation following Armenia's defeat to Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh.
