DISINFORMATION CASE DETAILS

DISINFO: Alexei Navalny is a agent of British-US Special Services

SUMMARY

Take a closer look at how the West manifests itself to the arrest and sentencing of Alexei Navalny, a US special services agent.

Navalny is Russia’s enemy. At some point (many associate it with the so-called “Magnitsky affair”) he was suddenly recruited by US special services.

Now back to the cosmic uproar that the West raised over Navalny’s “poisoning.” Now, look at how a whole propaganda campaign against Russia is unleashed in the West in connection with the fact that he was arrested and convicted for the case from which he tried to escape. Wow, what a “gross violation of human rights” against Navalny in Russia. Of course, the US-British agent was imprisoned, the world simply could not withstand the “loss of such a soldier.”

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Alexei Navalny.

Anti-corruption campaigner Alexei Navalny has long been the most prominent face of Russian opposition to President Vladimir Putin. His candidacy in the 2018 presidential election was banned by authorities over his conviction by a Russian court of embezzlement, which bars him from running for office. He has been arrested and imprisoned several times during his political career.

There is no evidence to suggest that the Russian opposition figure was, or has been, in connection with foreign intelligence services. It should be noted that an opposing narrative, that the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) is a Kremlin project and that Navalny is an agent of Russian secret services is also pure speculation and not based on facts.

See similar cases in our database claiming that Navalny is being helped by Western secret services, that 18 diplomats present at the court hearings is proof that Navalny is a foreign agent, that Navalny was planted in the German-Russian relations by the American and British special services that the CIA cooperates with Navalny and that Europe evacuated its secret agent Navalny; the poisoning is fake.
