DISINFO: A crusade against traditional values will follow Biden’s victory

SUMMARY

[Joe] Biden’s victory [in the US presidential race] will be followed by a new crusade against traditional values. For example, The “Human Rights Campaign”, the largest LGBT rights movement in the USA, has already called on President-elect Joe Biden to abandon accreditation of Christian schools and colleges that refuse to accept LGBT people, despite Christian opposition to these phenomena. This point will be implemented, but not immediately because it will further divide the country, which is already living through a cold civil war.

The matter of gay and transgender rights will become one of the main issues in the relationship of the new and subsequent US administration with its allies, and its importance will increase in the next decade (until the collapse of the United States of America).

RESPONSE

This message is consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about the moral decay of the West and the propaganda of the morally corrupt West.

According to these narratives, some liberal societies seek to destroy traditional values and to promote deviant sexual behaviour, and to be hostile to traditional religion.

At the same time, the narrative that this claim is trying to push is that the US is living in a civil war era, which has been a common narrative in the pro-Kremlin media since the fall of the Soviet Union.

See a similar narrative that the US is falling apart, or that Western societies are decadent, worship money and are devoted to the obsessive search for pleasure, or that Western Europe is moving away from its Christian roots, or that there is no sexual discrimination in Russia, or that the West allegedly promotes homosexual and lesbian values.
